I work at the intersection of ethical AI, mental health, investigative truth, and storytelling — building an ecosystem designed to serve people, not extract from them.
Who I Am
Born in Tehran, raised in Brunswick, Maine. Dartmouth '93. I spent three decades building technology companies — helped Cox roll out some of the first cable modems, founded Clearleap (acquired by IBM Watson in 2015), and created more than $1.7 billion in enterprise value across ventures with IBM, Ericsson, Cox, and Cognosos.
At the end of 2025 I resigned from a well-paying job where I was building AI models whose main purpose was justifying mass layoffs. I liquidated my assets and committed entirely to what I'd been thinking about for years: technology that actually serves people. That became Integrity Group.
Documentary
A story about what happens when ambition, moral collapse, and institutional power collide — and what it takes to rebuild from the wreckage.
I had the career. The company. The life. Then I started asking the wrong questions — or maybe finally the right ones. Rude Awakening is a first-person documentary about moral crisis, institutional failure, and what it looks like to actually start over.
Watch on YouTubeWhat I Believe
I'm not anti-technology — I've spent my career building it. But I think we've made choices that have done real harm: optimizing for attention over wellbeing, for scale over safety, for extraction over service.
I want to build the alternative. That means AI that's transparent, mental health platforms that actually help people heal, investigative work that holds institutions accountable, and stories that remind us why any of this matters.
AI shouldn't be a black box shaping human behavior without consent.
Systems should serve people — not extract from them.
Healing is infrastructure. Truth needs both evidence and narrative.
Capital should be aligned with measurable human impact.
Community isn't a feature — it's the foundation.
The Ecosystem
Not a portfolio of unrelated bets. Each one reinforces the others — technology, health, justice, story, and community, deliberately connected.
The holding company and ethical AI foundation. integrity.ai is the operating system powering the ecosystem — transparency, safety, and accountability at the foundational level. 51% of returns flow to the Foundation.
A unified mental health and wellness platform — AI-guided, human-centered, designed for measurable outcomes. Targeting the $20B+ mental healthcare opportunity. Pilots launching 2026.
Standalone nonprofit using technology to build responsible AI deployment models in underserved communities. Funded by 51% of integrity.ai returns.
I grew up alongside a partially verbal autistic kid who was treated like a vegetable — but wasn't. OneLight expands communication access and research for nonspeaking and neurodiverse individuals.
Investigative justice work — documenting institutional harm, tracking missing persons, building evidence-based narratives for accountability and reform. A companion documentary is in production.
A media company developing documentaries, scripted features, and cultural impact narratives. Current projects include Rude Awakening — a first-person documentary about moral crisis and institutional failure — and Unholy, a dark comedy series in development with the Danny McBride group.
A Maine-based community coffee venture — the physical-world anchor of everything else. Real conversations, real people, real generosity. Community isn't a feature you bolt onto a product. It's the foundation everything meaningful gets built on.
